Cookie Policy
This page describes the cookies and browser-storage items that ScenX uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Categories at a glance
The ScenX website (scenx.ai) and the application (app.scenx.ai) use two categories of cookies and browser storage:
- Strictly necessary - required for the site or app to function (language preference, session, security). These are loaded by default and cannot be disabled. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive they do not require prior consent.
- Analytics - Google Analytics 4, used to understand which pages are most useful so we can improve the product. These are opt-in: nothing is loaded until you click “Accept all” (or enable Analytics in “Customize”) in our consent banner. You can change your choice anytime via in the footer.

Analytics (opt-in)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the marketing site and the application are used so we can keep improving them. We have configured GA4 with IP anonymisation on, Google Signals off, ad personalisation off, and a 14-month data retention window. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising audiences and we do not share its data with advertising platforms.

Reject Analytics, or revoke your consent later, and these cookies are never set (and any existing ones are deleted on change).
Cookies in the application
The signed-in application at app.scenx.ai
sets a session cookie that is required to keep you logged in. This cookie is
HTTP-only, marked Secure
and SameSite=Lax,
and contains no personal data beyond the session reference. It is deleted
when you log out or when the session expires.
Third-party fonts
We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address as part of this request. We are evaluating self-hosting fonts to remove this third-party call entirely; until then you can block the request in your browser without affecting the readability of the site.
How to control cookies and storage
- You can clear local storage and session storage at any time from your browser’s developer tools or privacy settings.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies on a per-site basis — see your browser’s help pages.
- Blocking the application’s session cookie will log you out and prevent you from signing in again until cookies are re-enabled.
